Jewelry piece

  Doing this project was a hassle. I did a flower with very tiny circles scattered on the center of the flower. I am pretty satisfied with the way it came out. I learned a lot working with solder, and hard or east it can be. When working with my piece, it was pretty difficult, because it would fall apart and i would have to put it back together. That happened 2 or 3 times, but i finally got it right and it stuck together good. I would definitely do a jewelry piece again. It is pretty tie consuming, but the finished project in the end is worth it.

Emotional Person Water Color

This was a very challenging thing for me to do since i'm not very good at water color, and i had to do a person in it. Our goal was to make it look like a person and i did that, but it doesn't exactly look like the person it's supposed to look like. Other than all of that, i guess i could say i did an alright job. We only learn from our mistakes, right? That's exactly what i am doing too. I will only get better as i practice.

Water Color.

 This project wasn't that bad, or at least not as bad as i thought it was going to be. Water color isn't my best or favorite thing to do but i did pretty good. I guess the more i do it the better I'll get and the more I'll grow to it, just have to keep practicing. I did a beach with a soft blue sky in the background with a couple fluffy clouds. The sand is textured to look like sand in a way and my ocean looks like an ocean. At first when Mr. Miller told me that everything had to be on a horizontal line, and be horizontal i thought it was going to be pretty hard. but it really wasn't. I'm pretty satisfied with the way my water color painting came out. :)

Pipes Project

Hello world, my name is Serena Gutierrez. I'm very glad that i am in art class again. I've missed it since i didn't do it last year. This project that I just finished was pipes. The pipes in my project turned out quite satisfying to me, and i honestly didn't think i was as artistic as i am when i first started art, but i guess i thought wrong. In my eyes, everyone is artistic in their own way :)
